[In the preface to the Vier und zwantzig Quatricinia, Reiche mentions forty Sonatas à 5 that he intended to publish. These sonatas probably never appeared in print and are now lost. In addition, his estate contained a collection of 122 Abblase-Stückgen (i.e. little pieces to play from the tower) that are also no longer extant.]
