Remarks: This work was composed on a text by Christian Lange in honour of the birthday of Duke Johann Georg I, Elector of Saxony, and performed in Leipzig’s Paulinerkirche ‘by various choirs’ on 5 March 1656. The source contains only the title page/dedication and the text with instrumentations indicated for the individual sections. The music is lost.
